National PTA Programs
National PTA programs are created to organize and support parent involvement in children's education. The programs are created with leading expert organizations on topics of importance to our members, at members' requests.
PTA More
Website - Coalition members of PTA MORE serve as a conduit for greater father and significant male involvement, resulting in positive outcomes and successful relationships for children, parents, schools and communities. PTA MORE helps PTA leaders and units.

Three 4 Me
Website - Three for Me is a PTA program designed to effectively involve parents and families in support of children and their education. Three for Me will help schools, PTAs, parent groups, and other volunteer based organizations reach volunteer hours never thought possible. Learn how to tap into the many talents and skills that parents are happy to offer.

Healthy Lifestyles
Website - It is important for children to come to school emotionally and physically healthy. Studies have shown that children’s physical well-being has a significant effect on their learning and long-term success. When children are well-rested, well-nourished, and physically fit they are more ready to learn.

PTA Goes to Work
Website - Welcome to PTA Goes To Work. This is your gateway to navigating the ever-expanding world of information on career planning and getting your child or student on the path to an exciting and rewarding career. We're proud to have the United States Department of Labor (DOL) at our side in this effort.

After-School Programs
Website - Children who are unsupervised after school are at higher risk of getting poor grades, abusing drugs or alcohol, engaging in sexual activity, and becoming the victims of crime. They are also missing out on extended learning opportunities and additional opportunities to build positive relationships with caring adults in safe environments.

Great Idea Bank
Website - This social network will enable parents to interact and learn from each other how to overcome the challenges of parenting today. The best advice comes from peers, so use the discussion forum to share money-saving tips, ideas on how to be a more involved parent, fun activities to share with your kids, ways to communicate with your child's school and more. The advice and discussion on these pages is directed by users. If you are also a PTA leader or active in your local unit, this idea bank is filled with ways to run PTAs more effectively.

Take Your Family to School Week
Website - Family involvement in children's education increases student success in school--and has been at the heart of PTA since its founding in February 1897. With PTA Take Your Family to School Week, February 7-13, 2010, and the $1,897 Awards, we honor and continue our legacy of building family-school partnerships for the benefit of all children.

Founders' Day
Website - Founders Day is a reminder of the substantial role that PTA has played locally, regionally, and nationally in supporting parent involvement and working on behalf of all children and families. It's a time to reflect and take pride in our many accomplishments, and to renew our commitment to be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for parents, and a strong advocate for public education. There are many councils that have a Founder's Day celebration. Contact the Program Director at ptaprogdir@wastatepta.org if you are interested in starting a celebration at your council.
