WSPTA's Region 10 covers covers a portion of Pierce County. It consists of the Clover Park, Peninsula, Steilacoom Historical, Tacoma and University Place School Districts.
Region Director Message
Region 10 Leaders,
I am excited to be serving my second year as your Region Director for 2012-2013 year.
For those of you that do not know me, let me tell you a bit about myself. I have been married for the past 24 years to my husband Ed and we live in Tacoma with our three children. Adam is 21 and will be a senior in college next year. Emily is 18 and will e a freshman at Central in the fall. Erik is 16 and will be a junior at Foss High School. I have a stepdaughter Rachael who lives in New York. My PTA career started about 19 years ago when Rachael was in Kindergarten. My first PTA position was room parent. I have served in many capacities at my local units, council and now at the state level. I am looking forward to the new challenge this year will bring.
I am still looking for individuals to serve on the Service Delivery Team. This is an opportunity to put your leadership skills to work. If you are interested, I am especially looking for people to serve in the Clover Park, Peninsula and University Place areas.
