DESCRIPTION:This practice is a key indicator of PTA health and is a WSPTA Bylaw and SOA requirement. This presentation will help participants understand the importance of the nominating committee\, how to elect them\, and methods of organization so PTAs have the tools to help them recruit the best qualified candidates for the positions. A fair and impartial nomination process involves your membership and ensures your PTA’s success for many years into the future.

DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite local PTA leaders who are not experienced with special education but who want to include these families in your events and programs to these listening sessions. The Washington State PTA Special Education Committee would like to learn what resources you want and need to engage and support these students and families.
