Once a member has been included on an invoice\, staff is unable to delete them from the database. As a result\, your PTA will owe payment for that person\, regardless whether that person is an active paid member or an erroneous entry.

DESCRIPTION:Training\nThis training will cover shared fiduciary responsibility\, officer responsibilities\, basic financial management\, legal requirements\, and missing money. \nMoney Matters provides guidelines for responsible fiscal management of local PTAs and councils. This training will help board members develop a basic understanding of the procedures and processes which should be in place to help assure the proper\, prudent\, and diligent management of the PTA’s financial resources. The entire board of directors\, not just the treasurer\, is responsible for the financial well-being of the PTA. \nThe training and handbook should be used in conjunction with other WSPTA publications\, including Treasurer’s Handbook\, PTA & the Law\, and Washington State PTA Uniform Bylaws.
