DESCRIPTION:100% Membership\nTo be awarded the 100% Membership Award\, local PTAs must have one paid membership entered in the membership database for every child enrolled in the school associated with that local PTA. PTAs must complete an application form by March 1 to be eligible for this award. Recipients of the 100% Membership Award will be honored at the WSPTA convention. \n100% Staff\nThe 100% Staff Membership Award is presented to local PTAs who enroll at least as many school staff members as there are full-time certified employees at the school. This award recognizes the value of teachers as stakeholders\, as well as all dedicated staff members at the school\, in advocating for all children through PTA membership. \nPTAs must complete the applicable application form by March 1. DESCRIPTION:The Local PTA and Council Awards of Excellence Awards Program recognizes local PTAs\, community PTAs\, and councils whose level of effort in specific areas help them make a difference in their community. To participate in the Local PTA and Council Awards of Excellence Program\, the PTA or council must meet the following standards: \n\nThe Standards of Affiliation (SOA) contract was completed\, signed\, and submitted by the October 31st deadline. If the PTA or council was chosen for periodic review\, all contract requirements must be in order.\nThe PTA must be up to date on membership dues payments to WSPTA.\nThe PTA must have at least 25 paid members (or an approved waiver) by February 1st.\nThe PTA or council must have a president identified in the WSPTA membership database.\n\nLocal PTAs\, community PTAs\, or councils may apply for the following awards: \n\nAdvocacy Award of Excellence\nFamily and Community Engagement Award of Excellence\nOutstanding Communication Strategy\nOutstanding Newsletter & E-Blast\nOutstanding PTA of the Year\nOutstanding Website\nPTAs Taking Significant Action\nStandards of Excellence\n\nTo learn more and for applications (posted January)\, visit the Local PTA and Council Awards of Excellence page.
