Every local unit PTA can advocate for children, whether they have a Legislation Chair or not, by:

·     Including a PTA Legislation Newsletter article in every newsletter

·     Forwarding emails containing resources and information to PTA   members, school administrators, family and friends

·    Giving a PTA Legislation Report at every PTA meeting

·     Handing out a PTA Legislation Flyer at every PTA meeting

WSPTA Education Funding Study:

Washington State School Finances: Does Every Child Count? Washington State PTA sponsored and released this education funding study in March 2004.
