Convention Volunteers
The 2010 Washington State PTA convention is
approaching and many volunteers are needed! If
you are interested in attending convention this year
and are willing to give a few hours of your time,
you could attend free of charge.
Convention volunteer workers must contribute a minimum of
three hours to receive free attendance for that day.
Volunteers will be given a time sheet to be signed by the
convention liaison or appropriate chairperson. Those who do
not have a completed time sheet will be billed for the
registration fee. When volunteers are not working they may
attend classes, participate in General Sessions with or without
voice or vote, and visit all exhibits and vendors. As long as it
does not conflict with your volunteer scheduled hours
To sign up as a volunteer, fill out the registration form
here and submit it to the WSPTA office. Please
do not submit any payment if you are planning to apply for a
volunteer position. The volunteer coordinator will be
contacting to schedule times and jobs. Remember you must
sign up through WSPTA Office.
Note: Due to limited spaces and assignments we will be accepting and
placing volunteer workers on a first-come first-serve basis. In
accordance with the WSPTA Bylaws there can only be one voting
volunteer from each Local Unit.
