Finance Officer
I am honored to be nominated for Finance Officer. I became a member of PTA in 1980 and my commitment to the mission of PTA has grown stronger through these years. I have held elected and appointed positions at the local, council, region, and state level. My background and experience will serve me well as I take on the responsibilities of Finance Officer.
Over the years I have seen amazing changes and growth in our state PTA. As a member of the Corporate Finance Committee I understand the way we fund our organization needs to be improved. The WSPTA should seek out more non-dues revenue in order to maintain and improve our quality programs and resources for those we serve. I will strive as a board member to find additional revenue sources and work with Executive Director and Board to make this happen.

Annual State PTA Convention, May 2nd through May
4, 2008 in SeaTac,
Washington. Elections will be held
for the positions of
Finance Officer,
Secretary, Leadership Director, Program Director and two (2)
Nominating Committee at-large members.
