Candidate Statement

Bonnie Kayla
Secretary

I am honored to have been chosen by the nominating committee for the position of secretary and I respectfully ask for your vote.

 Having served in a variety of PTA positions including two terms as local unit president, two terms on my council board as secretary and vice president and two years as Region 7 Director providing training and service to over 111 units, I feel prepared and very excited for this new venture.

 I am the proud mother of a 15 year old daughter and a 17 year old son who will be graduating this year. My husband and I have been married 20 years and he continues to offer daily support in my PTA life.

My many years with PTA have been a wonderful learning experience. I look forward to continuing my service to your WSPTA, working to build a better world for all children.

2008 Officer Elections
State-wide elections will take place at the 95th Annual State PTA Convention, May 2nd through May 4, 2008 in SeaTac, Washington.  Elections will be held for the positions of Finance Officer, Secretary, Leadership Director, Program Director and two (2) Nominating Committee at-large members.
