Karen
Albers
Nominating Committee At Large
I've been an active PTA
member and child advocate since 1993 serving in numerous positions
and nominating committees at the local, council and region level.
I am currently the Hanford
Secondary PTSA president and the Region 12 Legislative Chair and I
recently served as chair of the nominating committee to elect a new
region 12 director.
During the past 15 years, I
have watched the WSPTA evolve into a prominent and influential child
advocacy organization due in part to strong leadership and their
ability to mobilize the members.
I want to serve on the nominating committee to assist in
ensuring that the WSPTA continues to be led by qualified, capable,
honest, and dedicated people.
If elected I promise to be objective in our search for the
most qualified candidate(s) that will continue the WSPTA tradition
of leadership and its vision of advocating for every child with one
voice.
