I became involved in PTA when my oldest child began kindergarten first by signing up to be a PTA member then joining a PTA committee and then chairing a committee and the rest is history.
I grew up in the state of Utah and for the past 24 years have called Renton home. My husband Carl and I have three kids, two of them are college-age and our youngest is 14.
I work part time as a classified sub in the Kent school District and as a Health Tech at Lake Youngs Elementary (my children's elementary school and where I spent many years involved in PTA). In my free time I enjoy being with my family, reading, going to the movies and scrapbooking.
