I joined PTA when my first child entered kindergarten 15 years ago simply because it was “the thing to do”. I had no idea the impact it would have on the lives of my family. The guidance and support of my husband Matt and the patience of our four children, make any contribution to PTA extremely satisfying and fulfilling.
I have chaired almost every committee along with being President & Vice President a number of times at local units. I have had the opportunity to serve on as well as Co-Chair the Washington State PTA convention committee, Region 10 Director, Washington State PTA Leadership Director, National PTA TCBI (Training Capacity Building Initiative) Trainer.
I am excited to serve as Washington State Membership Director and work with an amazing team of Region Membership Chairs. Who have a passion for Membership! I am grateful to each of you the wonderful, energetic and supportive PTA volunteers associated with this extraordinary organization.
