Kerrilynn Robinson
WSPTA Leadership Director
Ever since my boys started kindergarten I have been volunteering, attending PTA meetings, and taking on leadership roles. I ventured into that first PTA meeting and never looked back. By the end of the year, I found myself being nominated from the floor as a Co-Vice President and within two months I was attending my first of seven WSPTA conventions. I volunteered in the trenches for fundraisers and school events along with holding every office on the executive committee in my local unit as well as serving with the Council and Service Delivery Team. I have also had the privilege of attending National PTA instruction offered to PTA trainers across the nation. Dedicating my time to improve the lives of children and encourage and mentor volunteers is all worth it.

I was born and raised in Richland, WA. A huge part of my life has been dancing and performing ballet since I was 5 years old. I have been a ballet teacher and created a pre-ballet program with objectives and lesson plans for children ages 3 to 7. I currently substitute at the ballet studio, while I concentrate on raising my family and attending to PTA responsibilities. I graduated from Central Washington University, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Math/Science. I met my husband, John, while working at Pacific Northwest Laboratory. We have three beautiful children: our 12-year-old twins, Tyson and Tanner, and our 8-year-old daughter, Libbie. I’m very active in my church and currently hold a leadership position there helping to oversee programs for children ages 18 months to 11 years old. I love to spend time with my family, dance, and read. I also love anything Disney. One of my favorite family traditions is being able to perform as an entire family in the local annual production of the Nutcracker. My favorite movie is The Little Mermaid. I totally believe in being happy through good times as well as the challenges we face. We all make our own happily ever after.
